In a press release, local authorities reported eleven injuries. Four of them are in serious condition.

In a video widely relayed on social networks, the cabin of the Boeing of the Senegalese airline TransAir appears largely damaged. The management of Blaise Diagne airport announced that an investigation had been opened to determine the causes of the accident. “The reopening of the airport is announced in the coming hours”added the management group.

On Wednesday May 8, a plane from the American manufacturer had to land in Istanbul without front landing gear after damage. On the same day, a Boeing 787-900 from the French company Air France was forced to divert to land in Iqaliuit, in the Canadian far north, after a burning smell was detected in the cabin.
