Elephants as alarm clocks – this hotel has an animal wake-up service

This video is going viral on social media because this hotel has a very special alarm clock:
A woman is woken up by an elephant at a Thai resort.
Instead of getting a wake-up call from the hotel reception or setting an alarm clock yourself, pachyderms pass by the room here.

More than 70 million people have already seen the short Instagram video. Almost 3000 users have commented on the clip.
But in the hotel you are not only woken up by elephants:
You can also take the animals for a walk
feed them
swim or play with them.
Located in northern Thailand, it has eleven elephants in total.
According to the hotel, they are offered the most pleasant environment possible. The controversial elephant riding, for example, is prohibited.
However, you have to pay extra for the wake-up service and other activities with the trunked animals.
