Solar roofs for homes are currently in demand like never before. The photovoltaic industry is currently doing very well for the most part.

The mood in the German photovoltaics industry is excellent. The business climate index for photovoltaics, which is collected quarterly by the German Solar Industry Association, is at its highest level in the first quarter since the survey began, as the association announced on Tuesday. It rose 4.1 points to 148.9.

The companies surveyed assessed both their situation and their prospects for the next six months better. Currently, 93 percent of them rate the situation as very good or fairly good. Only one percent sees them as rather bad. In addition, 76 percent expect the business situation to improve in the next six months. Seven percent expect things to get worse.

The situation in the area of solar roofs for private homes is developing particularly positively, said General Manager Carsten Körnig. There has also been an aggravation in recent weeks due to the energy crisis in connection with the Ukraine war.
