Elections in Argentina: Defeat for Milei – it remains exciting for the runoff election – politics

Surprise in the presidential election in Argentina: the candidate of the left-wing Peronist government, Sergio Massa, is lying after counting more than 95 percent of the ballot papers in first place with 36 percent of the vote. Only just under 30 percent of voters chose the right-wing libertarian Javier Milei, although he was previously considered the clear favorite. Now both candidates have to go to a runoff election on November 19th.
