Bundestag election:Brinkhaus elected parliamentary group leader – until the end of April

- Brinkhaus has been re-elected as Union parliamentary group leader for six months.
- CSU boss Söder largely buried the hopes in the Union for a Jamaica coalition: “Olaf Scholz currently has the best chances of becoming chancellor, clearly.”
- Habeck is apparently supposed to play a stronger role in the Greens than Baerbock. He does not deny it, but does not want to hear anything about personnel speculation at the moment.
- The SPD is hoping for an early sounding with the FDP and the Greens, who want to meet for two on Wednesday.
