A young person has been rescued dead from the Altmühl in Eichstätt in Upper Bavaria. On Sunday evening, the police assumed neither suicide nor external influence. A passer-by observed the 15-year-old on Saturday as he apparently walked into the river, the police said. Since he didn’t see the youth on the other side of the river, he dialed 911. The subsequent search by the police and fire brigade was initially unsuccessful.
The body of a male youth was recovered the following day. According to the police on Sunday, it is the missing 15-year-old. The police has started investigation.
