EDF offers no less than 600 permanent positions this year

Electricity needs are increasing with the gradual abandonment of fossil fuels. In the midst of the energy transition, EDF is recruiting and offering 600 permanent positions in the Pays-de-la-Loire and Brittany regions for the year 2023. “We need to recruit to meet the challenges of electrifying energy needs “, particularly in the field of wind and photovoltaic, says the French electricity company.

For the Pays-de-la-Loire, a region which already has 4,500 employees, these are “400 positions to be filled in the year” according to the company. It will also take nearly 200 in Brittany. “We mainly recruit electricians, electrical technicians, customer and sales advisers, refrigeration technicians and project managers. “For example in the Pays-de-la-Loire, it is “170 electricians” who are wanted.

Job offers vary from baccalaureate to baccalaureate + 5 levels. The “development of electricity uses” leads to long-term recruitment needs: “all the positions offered are permanent contracts”, explains the first supplier of electricity in France.

All EDF job offers can be found on the EDF Recrute website.
