Ed Sheeran dedicates his new video “2Step” with rapper Lil Baby to Ukraine. The proceeds go to humanitarian causes.

Ed Sheeran (31) dedicates his new video to Ukraine. the clip Sheeran filmed the remix of “2Step” with rapper Lil Baby (27) in the Ukraine. Proceeds from the single will benefit refugees from the country invaded by Russia.

“I shot the video for ‘2step’ in Kyiv, Ukraine, before the devastating violence began,” reads a text panel before the actual video clip.

“It was my first time visiting the country,” Sheeran continues, “and I felt so welcome during my stay there – from the production crew to the many people I met on my days off.”

“Ukraine is a proud and resilient country,” added the singer, “and I’m grateful I had the opportunity to shoot my video there. I stand by Ukraine.”

Proceeds from “2Step” benefit Ukraine

Ed Sheeran not only supports Ukraine symbolically with the “2Step” remix. Proceeds from the single will benefit the Disasters Emergency Committee’s (DEC) Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal campaign. The DEC supports people on site who have lost their homes due to the war and takes care of refugees in neighboring countries.

It’s not Ed Sheeran’s first time championing Ukraine. On March 29, the musician performed with stars like Camila Cabello (25) in Birmingham. The equivalent of around 14 million euros came together at the benefit concert. The money also went to the DEC.
