Employers from the Ebersberg district can still apply for this year’s entrepreneurial award with the motto “Sustainable to success” up to and including Friday, February 24th.
The award is given to companies that have committed themselves to resource-saving and socially and ecologically sustainable management. Sustainability as a guiding principle is more relevant today than ever and affects all areas of society. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations from 2015 also made this clear, which were the impetus for choosing the topic for this year’s Entrepreneur Award, according to the award announcement. For companies, this means not just aligning economic activity with profit and growth, but also taking social and ecological concerns into account. It is not just about a good ecological balance through environmentally friendly processes, innovations and regional supply chains. Employee-oriented corporate management that focuses on the well-being of the workforce is also relevant.
Applications from all sectors of the working world are welcome. An expert jury decides on the winners. It is made up of representatives from the Employment Agency, the DGB, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the District Crafts Association, women entrepreneurs in the trades, as well as climate management and business development at the Ebersberg District Office.
