It will take at least until mid-December before Poland has a new government. The coalition that then wants to take part has already given some thought to how things should continue economically. The right-wing nationalist PiS government, which has now ruled for eight years, has recently been heavily criticized for its economic policy. They are not doing enough to combat high inflation, monetary policy is too harsh, and the entire economy is becoming just as politicized as the media and the judiciary.
