ECB raises interest rates again, another hike planned for July
ECB President Lagarde confirmed that the central bank would continue to act based on data. At the same time, she noted that the rate hikes so far have already had a major impact on financing conditions and are beginning to filter through to the wider economy. From the ECB’s point of view, the economic prospects in the euro area remain gloomy for the time being.
