Ebersberg: Uli Proske criticizes Postbank – Ebersberg

Ebersberg’s mayor Ulrich Proske (independent) has now complained to the Postbank with an open letter. The background is that Postbank services such as payments and deposits or advice in the district town of Ebersberg have no longer been available since the beginning of January. Switching to the neighboring town is only possible for a short time, because the Postbank branch in Grafing will close in February.

Postbank does point out to its customers that there is also a branch in Baldham, but that’s just “the branch that has had to be closed for a while due to staff shortages,” says Proske. “In my opinion, this state of affairs is not tolerable and has led to many Ebersberg citizens turning to me angrily for help.”

On behalf of Postbank customers, he complained about the behavior of the bank: “It is almost unbelievable that your Ebersberg customers now have to go to Baldham or Haar to do their banking. You are welcome to google which route your customers now have to travel “This is often not feasible, especially for older people. This situation should not be acceptable for your company, unless you don’t care about your customers at all. It cannot be that I, a mayor, have to stand up for your customers with this your customers to do the necessary banking.”

Proske closes his letter with the request that he “expects an answer promptly as to how you intend to change this intolerable situation.”
