Ebersberg district: fewer corona viruses in wastewater – Ebersberg

The number of corona infections in the Ebersberg district will probably continue to decrease. At least that’s what the Ebersberg district office predicts after evaluating the wastewater tests in Ebersberg, Grafing and Glonn. These indicate a strong reduction in the biomarker concentration. However, it should also play a role that many people from the district are currently on vacation – the experts in the district office had therefore already predicted a decrease in the summer.

However, 112 new cases were reported on Wednesday, 36 more than in the previous week. A total of 202 people from the Ebersberg district have currently tested positive for the virus. The seven-day incidence was put at 198.5 on Wednesday. That is below the Bavarian average of 237.7 and well below the nationwide incidence of 311.8. In the Ebersberg district clinic, ten patients with a confirmed infection are currently being treated on the normal ward. Two people who have been infected with the corona virus have to be cared for in the intensive care unit.
