Ebersberg: Decision on Holzbräu is postponed – Ebersberg

The decision on how to proceed with the wood brewery site will be postponed indefinitely. Actually, the technical committee of the city council should have discussed and decided on a planning of the investor Euroboden on this Tuesday evening. But as Mayor Ulrich Proske (independent) announced on Monday, the point would be taken off the agenda. The reason for this is that the ideas of the investor and those of the city are too far apart.

What the investor has in mind can already be read on the municipal website for a few days. The meeting documents for the committee on Tuesday have already been posted there, including the item on the agenda for the development of the wood brewery site that has now been removed. Some of this had been known for a long time, such as the construction of new residential buildings in the western part of the site. What is new, at least for the public, are the plans for the listed building and the hotel apartment block to the north.

The latter is to be replaced by a new building, which will then no longer belong to the hotel but will become another residential building. In the Holzbräu building, where there is currently a restaurant, only rooms will be rented. According to these plans, the gastronomy would move into another new building, which is to be built on the site of the bakery that was demolished last year.

The investor would also like a smaller underground car park. Originally there was talk of a two-story facility, but Euroboden only wants to park on one level for cost reasons. Finally, it was negotiated whether the parking spaces that would then be missing could be created elsewhere – apparently not with success.
