The actor Heinz Behrens is dead. As MDR AKTUELL learned from the family, Behrens died on Tuesday at the age of 89.
Behrens was born on September 30, 1932 in Grünberg in Silesia – in Zielona Góra, Poland today. After studying in Halle, he first played on theater stages in Rostock, Erfurt and Dessau. In 1960 he appeared on the big screen for the first time in the television production “Love at first sight”. A year later he became part of the acting ensemble of the GDR television station DFF (Deutscher Fernsehenfunk).
