Electronic Arts has the cover motif of the EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Edition presented – the collage also contains three German stars.

There is still no official date for EA Sports FC 24, but with today’s presentation of the Ultimate Edition, Publisher Electronic Arts heralds the marketing phase. After the end of the license agreement with world football governing body, the new brand will dissolve EA Sports FC from this autumn the usual one FIFAseries, which has been one of the best-selling PC and console games for years.

The pack motif EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Edition combines current football stars with legends from previous generations including Zinedine Zidane, Pelé, Marta, Ronaldinho, Drogba, Bellingham, van Dijk and Beckham. With world champion Rudi Völler, national player Alexandra Popp from VfL Wolfsburg and BVB professional Youssoufa Moukoko, three footballers from Germany are also represented.

The fact that Manchester City superstar and Champions League winner Erling Haaland is the focus should not be a coincidence – and suggests that the striker will replace Frenchman Kylian Mbappé as the central testimonial.

Electronic Arts has announced the premiere of the gameplay trailer and the unveiling of this year’s title star for next Thursday (July 13, live stream from 6:30 p.m.).

There are still no indications that Electronic Arts may participate in Gamescom 2023, which starts on August 23 in Cologne. In 2022, the US publisher had forgone a Gamescom appearance for the first time since 2009.
