Dževad Karahasan: “Hovering Practice” – Culture

The Bosnian writer Dževad Karahasan wrote in one of his essays that narrative prose is inextricably linked to the city. He was born in the provinces, which was meant in this sentence. Life in the country is also part of the city’s literature and grows with it. Karahasan was born in 1953 in Duvno, in the still young post-war socialist Yugoslavia. So he is now seventy years old.
