An unusually warm April weekend came to an end on Sunday with a provisional nationwide high of 28.2 degrees in Rosenheim, Upper Bavaria. “It was actually a summery day,” said a spokesman for the German Weather Service (DWD). “The temperatures were actually around 25 degrees throughout the south and southeast.”
It was even warmer in some parts of Germany on Saturday. According to preliminary data, 30.1 degrees were measured in Ohlsbach in the Rhine Valley (Baden-Württemberg). However, the values are numbers that will be checked again in the coming days.
