Due to construction work – through Grafing closed during the holidays – Ebersberg

Drivers in Bärenstadt have to be prepared for detours during the autumn holiday week, when the Grafinger Center will be closed to traffic due to construction work. The background is a so-called “small-area road repair” on State Road 2089 in the area of the through-town of Grafing, as the State Building Authority in Rosenheim has now announced. This requires the state road to be completely closed in the area between Marktplatz and Urtelbachbrücke. This starts on Tuesday, November 2nd and is expected to last until Friday, November 5th.

Since the end of August, the Rosenheim State Building Authority has had minor road damage repaired in the northern district of Rosenheim and in the entire district of Ebersberg. These include, for example, cracks in the asphalt, potholes or ruts. As one of the last measures, it will be the turn of Grafing to drive through during the coming autumn holiday week. In the area between Marktplatz and Urtelbachbrücke, State Road 2089 has minor road damage that needs to be repaired before the winter months. In order for this work to be completed quickly, a full closure of the through-town is inevitable, the authority further informs. If everything goes according to plan, the renovation work in Grafing can be completed on Friday, November 5th, and traffic can flow again. However, those responsible point out that asphalting work is heavily dependent on the weather, so the construction work can be delayed in unfavorable weather conditions. The State Building Authority in Rosenheim asks all road users to understand the obstacles that may arise.
