Duchess Meghan cooks dumplings with Afghan refugees in California. Pictures of the action were shared on the Archewell page.

For a good cause at the stove: Duchess Meghan (42) prepares traditional Afghan dumplings with a group of 15 women who fled from Afghanistan to the USA. Photos of the charity campaign by the US wife of Prince Harry (39) are can be seen on the Archewell page.

The Duchess of Sussex founded The Welcome Project in 2023 as part of her work with the Archewell Foundation, which she launched with her British husband. Her organization previously revealed that Meghan had enjoyed an “evening of cooking and storytelling” with the Southern California Welcome Project on February 10. This is probably where the photos were taken. In the photos, the Duchess can be seen wearing an apron with the name of her organization written on it.

A few days earlier, Meghan was working for animal protection

Just a few days ago, Meghan surprised everyone with a virtual engagement in Great Britain. The mother of two appeared in London via video link to open new premises for an animal charity. The Oli Juste ward at Mayhew Animal Hospital in northwest London is named after a dog behaviorist who died in January 2022. He is said to have been friends with Meghan. The announcement of her virtual visit was made via her and Harry’s new website, Sussex.com.

The appearance at the charity came shortly after Prince Harry returned to the UK to pay tribute to his father, King Charles III. (75), while the monarch is being treated for cancer. There was subsequent speculation in the British press that Harry might want to temporarily return to royal service.

Harry and Meghan resigned as senior royals in 2020 and moved to the USA. They currently live in Montecito, California, with their two children, Prince Archie (4) and Princess Lilibet (2).
