British citizenship test is ‘difficult’

Duchess Meghan revealed on her podcast that Prince Harry wasn’t much of a help to her studying for the British citizenship test.
Duchess Meghan (41) has in her podcast “Archetypes” reveal that she once dedicated herself to the British citizenship test. “This test is very difficult. I really learned for it,” says Prince Harry’s (38) wife, who was born in Los Angeles. The British royal was apparently no help to her. “I was like, ‘Oh my God’ and I asked my husband, ‘Did you know that or that?’ and he just said, ‘I had no idea’,” says Meghan in conversation with actress Pamela Adlon (56), who jokingly added: “I think they made it extra difficult for you.”
Harry and Meghan married in May 2018. The year before, it was publicly announced that the former actress was seeking British citizenship. Harry’s communications secretary at the time, Jason Knauf, told the BBC: “I can also say that she intends to become a British citizen and will go through the process to do so, which some of you may know takes a number of years.” In 2020, however, Meghan and Harry broke away from their royal duties and moved to the United States. She is said to have given up her pursuit of British citizenship after the “Megxit”. She didn’t comment on the podcast.
Prince Harry is ‘great’
Duchess Meghan also spoke about the progress of her little daughter Lilibet (1) in the latest edition of her Spotify podcast. “Lili just started walking,” said the proud mother. The 41-year-old joked that her youngest child, who is “a year and a few months old”, has become mobile and is “in the thick of things”. She also spoke about the “morning rush” at her home in Montecito, California.
“I’m sure it will only get more messy as they get older,” she said of her two children, Lilibet and Archie, 3. First she brings her daughter downstairs, “half an hour later Archie is awake”. Just before he gets up, Meghan would start preparing his lunch box. Meanwhile, Lilibet eat a small bite. Prince Harry is helping her “bring the three-year-old downstairs”. After breakfast, the mother of two goes on to feeding the dogs and taking Archie to school. Adlon added that she hopes Harry will help Meghan with the kids in the morning. To which she replies, “Oh, my husband? He’s great.”
