Duchess Kate and Prince William have replied to a girl who invited her son, Prince George, to her birthday party.

Mail from the palace! Duchess Kate (40) and Prince William (40) answered a girl in a letter. The six-year-old had previously invited her son, Prince George (9), to her birthday party.

Mother touched despite friendly refusal

According to The Express, the letter states, The Palace wrote: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have asked me to thank you for your letter inviting Prince George to your sixth birthday party. I am sorry that it took so long to reply had to wait.”

The friendly letter continued: “Their Royal Highnesses are very grateful for the kind invitation. However, after careful consideration of the possibilities, I deeply regret that Their Royal Highnesses feel compelled to decline the invitation.” The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were touched that she took the trouble to write to her son. “Their Royal Highnesses have asked me to convey their heartfelt thanks and best wishes. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy your birthday,” the royal letter concludes.

The girl’s mother is said to have described the letter, which she received several months after the invitation was sent, as “something wonderful to keep”.

Prince George celebrated his own birthday
