From practice or hospital management to midwifery: interest in dual studies in healthcare is constantly increasing. There are three reasons for this. On the one hand, the students like the variety: sometimes theory in the lecture hall, then again practice in a healthcare facility. On the other hand, the course doesn’t cost anything, rather you get a salary, albeit a small one. In the long term, however, the third reason is the most important: The healthcare industry is making ever greater demands on its employees. This also explains the lack of specialists and executives that is lamented everywhere.
