The singer Linda Teodosiu is on stage at several concerts with Helene Fischer. It was “extremely great pressure”.
Linda Teodosiu (31) has been on stage for years, including as a member of Peter Maffay’s (73) live band and with her group Mätropolis. Casting show fans know her from the fifth season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. Now she is playing several concerts with Helene Fischer (38) – on the hit queen’s current tour.
It’s “really awesome” for Linda Teodosiu
Teodosiu performs as a background singer at eight concerts, as reported by “RTL”.. “I didn’t know how much work it really is, so I didn’t know how many songs it was,” she says in an interview with the broadcaster. It was “really awesome, an extremely big pressure” because Fischer was often “very perfectionist”. She also has this quality: “That’s why I want everything to be perfect, of course.” The singer also raves about her superstar colleague: “She’s an amazing power woman and I think she’s incredible.”
Even if she herself has a lot of experience, the special commitment obviously does not go unnoticed. “I’m very excited,” says the 31-year-old. Otherwise she is not, “but of course I want to do everything right”.
Because of a rib fracture that Helene Fischer suffered during rehearsals, she had to postpone the start of her big tour in March. In April it finally started in Hamburg. However, one of the background singers has no time due to the postponement of some dates and so Teodosiu got the chance. “I was free on the dates, I know half the band anyway. I didn’t have to think twice,” she tells “express.de”. Fischer is “the best artist we have in Germany. That’s a great honor”.
