Plattwen contract and money for Harry: “DSDS” juror Florian Silbereisen was full of praise for the 21-year-old winner of the casting show: “You can actually sing what you want, it’s always good”.

The circus artist Harry Laffontien has won the RTL casting show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. The 21-year-old prevailed against his three remaining competitors in the season 19 finale. Including his younger brother, Gianni Laffontien (17).

“Harry, you can actually sing what you want, it’s always good,” enthused “DSDS” juror Florian Silbereisen after the singer had performed his final song “Someone To You”. The song was produced by “DSDS” judge Toby Gad. «You made this song your own song. As it should be. That was Harry. That was authentic!” said guest judge Joachim Llambi, who already raved about Laffontien in the semifinals.

With his triumph, the singer, who lives in Hiddenhausen, secured 100,000 euros and a recording contract with Universal Music.
