Moment of shock in the DSDS final: When Laura Wontorra moderates the four finalists, a troublemaker runs onto the stage – and asks for a computer game. It’s not the first time he’s disrupted a program on RTL.
The grand finale of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” was only a few minutes old when it caused the first big excitement – but not because of the four finalists. Presenter Laura Wontorra was just about to draw attention to Monika Gajek, Kiyan Yousefbeik, Swiss Lorent Berisha and eventual winner Sem Eisinger when the commotion was heard over the microphones. What happened?
While the director was capturing the four visibly confused faces of the finalists, a speedster ran onto the stage and tried to get to Laura Wontorra’s microphone. “My name is Laser, my name is Laser, I want to play GTA 6,” he was heard calling over the microphone while the 34-year-old presenter tried to calm the situation. “Stop, stop, de-escalation. Because of course we want to treat our singing talents to the stage,” says Wontorra. The presenter was visibly shocked by the speedster, as evidenced by photos from the Getty Images agency. But the man’s appearance was quickly over. Several security staff took him off the stage.
DSDS-Flitzer already disrupted the RTL program in February
The man is no stranger to the RTL program. At the beginning of February, he stormed into an interview by presenter Steffen Hallaschka with jungle queen Djamila Rowe on “Stern TV”. While the camera panned to the finalists on DSDS, the disruptor remained in the picture on “Stern TV”. “Hello, my name is Laser. Did you actually know that the WWE is fake?” asked the streaker the visibly irritated Hallaschka and Rowe.
Moderator Hallaschka also reacted confidently at the time. “You want to disrupt the program here and just place a message?” he asked the man. “I would recommend you just sit down again. That’s a good application for the jungle and then when you come back we’ll talk about anything you think is important.” Shortly after the troublemaker was led off the stage, another man appeared in the picture with crude messages.

The troublemaker from Saturday has also already appeared on competing broadcaster ProSieben. In the summer of 2021, the man ran onto the stage at “Beat the Star” and asked moderator Elton: “Where the hell is GTA 6? I’ve been waiting for it for eight years”. Elton took the disturbance with humor. “I haven’t even finished GTA 5 yet,” Elton explained with a grin, while the man was led off the stage by security. But until the troublemaker can finally play the video game, he has to be patient: the game doesn’t even have a release date yet.
