Elisabeth Häusler is allowed to enter her office again. She was removed from office six months ago without notice, and now the Landshut Social Court has lifted her removal from office. The reasons for the process remain mysterious.
“I jumped in the air,” says Elisabeth Häusler South German newspaper on the phone. It’s Tuesday morning and she’s sitting in her executive office at the pension insurance company in Munich again. A few days earlier, on Friday afternoon, her lawyer had called, she says, and told her the surprising news: the Landshut Social Court had granted her application for interim legal protection; it was not legal to remove Häusler from her position. A court spokeswoman confirmed this to the SZ.
