The train passengers did not let the situation deteriorate. Thanks to them, a 37-year-old man was arrested overnight from Friday to Saturday at the Mirail-University metro station in Toulouse for “willful violence with a weapon”, reports France Bleu Occitanie.
Visibly very drunk, the individual took the metro to Balma shortly before 3 a.m. and attacked a 30-year-old woman who was in the train. Pissed off after she rebuffed his advances, he allegedly pulled out a knife to threaten her and slapped her repeatedly. The passengers did not remain spectators and several of them forced the individual to get off on the platform at the Mirail-Université station, before calling the police.
