Drunk attacks residents and police officers in Ebersberg – Ebersberg

A 41-year-old from the northern district of Ebersberg behaved aggressively and unreasonably towards residents and police officers on Monday. The evening ended for him in a detention cell, and criminal proceedings await him.

According to the police, the man was very drunk when he wanted to walk home through the city. Due to his alcoholism and the associated motor failures, he fell to the ground several times and suffered various abrasions. Residents concerned about the drunk attempted to help by talking to him or calling an ambulance. According to the police, the 41-year-old refused any help offered. When a local resident approached him again a little later, the man attacked him for no apparent reason, so that he was slightly injured.

The 41-year-old also showed little cooperation with the police officers who arrived shortly afterwards. At first he refused to give his personal details and tried to step after the officers during the subsequent search to determine his identity. He also titled the officials deployed with various strong language and insults. In addition, there were multiple spitting attacks against the officers. The police took the man into custody, he had to spend the rest of the night in the detention cell of the Ebersberg police station. Here, too, he offered massive resistance, as reported by the police. One officer was slightly injured but was still able to work.

The 41-year-old is now facing criminal proceedings for, among other things, assaulting law enforcement officers, bodily harm and insult.
