Drug shortage: wholesaler Sanacorp sees warning signs – district of Munich

With more than 3000 employees and 19 branches throughout Germany, Sanacorp is one of the largest German pharmaceutical trading companies. The company, which is headquartered in the Steinkirchen district of Planegg, recently recorded annual sales of 5.9 billion euros. The cooperatively organized company supplies pharmacies with medicines. The SZ spoke to the head of supply chain management, Joachim Sauer, about the current supply bottlenecks for medicines.
