On December 14, 2021, Annette Knobloch presented her credentials to the President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. Observing all protocol regulations and not appearing a bit silly is part of the art of the diplomatic service. Since the official handover, Knobloch has been the German ambassador in the Laotian capital Vientiane.
