Dorfen: Inclusive music festival “Everyone’s best” canceled – Erding

The extraordinary and inclusive festival “Jedem das Beste”, at which nine bands were supposed to perform this Sunday in the home and care facility of the Barmherzige Brüder in Algasing, will not take place after all. “It is with a heavy heart that I made the decision today, after detailed consultation with those involved and those responsible, to cancel the music festival,” writes Ary Witte-Krieger, Managing Director in Algasing, in a press release sent out on Monday evening. The festival organized in cooperation with the Munich music manager Gerald Huber to mark the 400th anniversary of the Order of the Merciful Brothers falls through. “Unfortunately, the forecasts for the weather conditions on all channels are not so good or sufficient for us to expect success in this matter.”

Strong musicians were booked for the festival. With Ami WarningBluekilla, Ward 17, Count Fidi, Lauraine, Paul KowolMalva, Jeanne D’azz and the Schwindegg Youth Band nine bands from the genres hip hop, ska, soul, indie rock, chanson, folk, electro from Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and the Dorfen, Erding, Wasserburg region would have rocked Algasing for a whole day. The organizers were also proud that “more than a third of the performers come from an inclusive background themselves”.

Ary Witte-Krieger states that the cancellation of the festival was “also a decision to protect the health of our residents”. One had “considered moving the events inside”. But that “would not be responsible in terms of corona prevention and the health of each individual”. But one thing is certain, according to Witte-Krieger: “It’s not postponed. So we’ll see each other in 2023.”
