Working from home is undoubtedly an achievement, but it also makes office life lonely. It doesn’t just lead to deserted conference tables, coffee kitchens and canteens. It leaves young professionals in particular pretty alone. Especially at the beginning, they need social interaction with colleagues in order to find their way around their new job. The flexibility of working from home is great, but in the long term employees should go back to the office more. Otherwise something will break – young people in particular feel this.
