Your friend is dead, the memories of him should live on: Three young filmmakers (two men and one woman) made a documentary about their friend and climate activist Steffen Meyn, who had an accident in September 2018 and fell out of a tree house during a police operation in the Hambach Forest died.
On November 16th they will present “Don’t Forget Meyn” in Munich, accompanied by Konstantin Wecker, who supports them as a “film sponsor”. Following the screening, a panel discussion involving the audience is planned. This could be exciting: The climate activist scene is divided (and not just since Greta Thunberg’s recent statements), and the protesters interviewed for the film don’t always seem to agree.
