As every year now and on the sidelines of the World Day Against Homophobia, May 17, the L1 and L2 teams honor a campaign on a championship day around this date. Rainbow flocking and armbands are in order, among others. These jerseys must then be auctioned off for the benefit of the Foot Ensemble, PanamBoyz & Girlz United and SOS Homophobia associations.

According The Telegram, the defender of Guingamp, Donatien Gomis, would have refused to take part in this operation. “Donatien Gomis has expressed his choice not to wear this jersey. We have taken note of this, ”confirmed Fred Le Grand, president of the club.

Gomis will be absent from the Breton workforce this Saturday, on the occasion of the 35th day of Ligue 2. Last year, the former Parisian Idrissa Gueye had boycotted a match against Montpellier for the same reasons.
