Pontius Pilate, as the elders may remember, once asked Jesus, “What is truth?” He had previously said that he had only come into the world to tell the truth. And that everyone who is of the truth should listen to Jesus’ voice. The reply implies that there is no single truth in the world, and of course that leads directly to Donald Trump. He wants all Americans to listen to his voice and then vote for him in the 2024 presidential election. And he thinks he has the only truth about the situation in his country.
