Former US President Donald Trump surrendered to authorities in Georgia on Wednesday evening. In addition to a police photo, information about height and weight was also published. The numbers are surprising on the internet.

Authorities in the US state of Georgia have in connection with the charges against Donald Trump has released a police photo of the former US President for attempted election fraud. The sheriff’s office released the memorable snapshot on Thursday evening (local time) after Trump had previously turned himself in to the authorities in Atlanta County Jail. Despite Trump’s various legal problems, it is the first time that he has had to be photographed by the police. The resulting photo should go down in history.

But not only Trump’s “mugshot” is circulating on the Internet, but also information about his height and weight: In official documents from the authorities of Fulton County in the US state of Georgia, his height is given as 6 feet and 3 inches, which is 1, corresponds to 90 meters. His body weight is given as 215 pounds – 97 kilograms.

Donald Trump is 1.90 meters tall and weighs 97 kilos – does that fit?

If you believe the information, the ex-president would have slimmed down. Because they are loud “Washington Post” nearly 30 pounds lighter than he reported at his last official White House medical exam. According to the “New York Post” Trump’s current measurements would be 25 pounds lighter and an inch taller than his indictment in New York in April.

In the social network X – formerly Twitter – the body measurements provide amusement. Some users compare Trump’s statements with those of athletes.

For example, NBA basketball player Luguentz Dort and football player Evander Craft would have similar or the same body dimensions – but apparently completely different body shapes.

Another user shows a screenshot of a Google search with Trump’s body data – and only sees muscle men.

Rick Wilson, co-founder of a Republican anti-Trump group, writes on X: “215? That’s a crazy lie.”

The Washington Post continues to write that doubts about Trump’s size and weight are justified. Because it is unclear where the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office got the data.

Doubts about the accuracy of the figures

Former Georgia Senator and co-defendant David Shafer is described as 5’7″, 150 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes. According to the newspaper, Shafer is taller and stronger, but has gray hair and brown eyes.

Another example is Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani, who also turned himself in on Wednesday. The prison records describe him as 5’7″ and weighing 180 pounds (81 kilograms). Later, however, the information was changed to 1.70 meters and 90 kilograms without explanation, according to the “Post”.

A person familiar with the arrest of a co-defendant in this case told the Washington Post that sheriff’s officers did not ask the defendant’s height or weight, nor was the person asked to step on a scale deliver. Although these figures were noted in the person’s file, they did not match the person’s profile or driver’s license. The person did not know where these numbers came from.

A possible explanation could be that the accused provided the information themselves. The TV station ABC reported that Trump’s measurements were announced in advance to speed up the process. At least that’s what an adviser to the former president said to the broadcaster.
