A macabre discovery for simple walkers on Sunday. These Sunday walkers who walked along small paths outside the greenway in the Saint-Gironnais, in Ariège, in the middle of the afternoon, came across the corpse of a dog hanging from a gallows, as reported La Dépêche du Midi.
Arriving on site, the police noted the death of the poor creature, a staff crusader, according to the first testimonies of the prosecution. The dog had certainly been hanging on this gallows for some time, said France 3.
An investigation into serious animal abuse was opened and a neighborhood investigation began. Unfortunately, as the animal is neither chipped nor tattooed, it is currently difficult to find its owner.
