Does money make you happy? What science knows about it – knowledge

Are rich people really happier than poor people, and does inflation make you sad? What speaks for the fact that money is a key to happiness from the point of view of science – and what speaks against it.

Assuming you could choose, how much money would you want? As much as possible, one should assume, because more is more. In fact, a study by British psychologists Paul Gain and Renata Bongiorno shows that many people would not wish for astronomical sums in the journal Nature Sustainability – apparently many are of the opinion that too much money is not healthy either. But is that true? Doesn’t money make you happy, or at least satisfied? What speaks for it from the point of view of science – and what speaks against it.
