“Encouragement” – that is the goal of an integration festival that the city of Ebersberg is organizing on Sunday, September 25th. The colorful afternoon is entitled “Diversity” and is organized by Ning Wallner from Ebersberg. It starts at 1 p.m., in the monastery building yard if the weather is nice, in the Unterm First community hall if it rains. Admission is free, all citizens from the district and beyond are invited.
Wallner, a powerful woman with Filipino roots, has been living according to the motto “Overcoming challenges with positive energy” for many years. That’s why she wants to bring people together, no matter what nationality or skin color they are. She says: “Each one of us is valuable, we all want to celebrate that together.”
The idea of this integrative event was enthusiastically received not only by the city but also by the Kreisbildungswerk, TSV Ebersberg, Caritas and the music school. To put together an attractive programme, Ning Wallner has called on friends and creative people who will work with her to put together a varied “picture arc”.
It is also a great honor for Wallner that the third mayor of the city of Ebersberg, Lakhena Leng (Greens), will moderate the event with her. The duo want to lead you through the “diversity” program in a charming way, which offers something for the whole family with Bavarian songs, great show dances, various readings, choir singing, rousing rhythms, a little spirituality, poetry and “Zumba for everyone” with Tracey Bayer should have. The performers include songwriter Edeltraud Rey, the dance group Evergreen Moversthe women’s choir of the Ebersberg Singers and Orchestra Association, Elisabeth Sofeso, the writer Viktoria Schwenger, Nanci Fritsche, Angolan dancers, Ingrid Einhellig, Shanti Luy and others.
Under the motto “Everything you give comes back to you”, a small international buffet is to be created for the visitors by all those involved. Drinks are offered at reasonable prices.
