The labor market in the district of Munich is currently stable. In September, 5047 people were registered as unemployed. That was exactly one person more than in the previous month. The unemployment rate remains at 2.6 percent. A year ago it was 2.7 percent. In the district’s job center, where recipients of unemployment benefit II are looked after, the number of registered benefit recipients has increased slightly. 2,257 long-term job seekers were registered there in September. That was 109 people or 5.1 percent more than in the previous month. This quota also includes people who have fled from Ukraine.
