People in the district of Munich who have taken in refugees from Ukraine free of charge can apply to the district office for a subsidy towards their ancillary housing costs until the end of June. This refers to the months of March up to and including May 2022. 65 euros will be paid out for each full month that an adult has spent with their host, as well as 50 euros for each child up to their 15th birthday, the amount will then be settled on the day I agree. In order to receive the support, two conditions must be met: the host may not claim rental costs from his guests and these must be registered with the foreigners authority in the central register of foreigners. The subsidy can be applied for on the website of the district office (www.landkreis-muenchen.de) in the Ukraine subsidy area.
