The foundation of the district savings bank for the district of Munich distributed 22,400 euros to five charitable initiatives in the first half of the year. The community of Aying received 10,000 euros for a community chronicle on the occasion of the 1250th anniversary of the Helfendorf district and for numerous events in the festival year. The Arge Hospiz, which distributes free emergency doses to people in need of care, received 6,000 euros. The DLRG local association Munich-Mitte is happy about 3900 euros, the neighborhood help Kirchheim, Heimstetten and Landsham about 1500 euros for the newly founded self-help group for caring relatives and the association Warr eV from Garching, a student group on the subject of space travel and outer space, about 1000 euros for a student space conference.
