A heart adorns the wing, the Ukrainian flag is emblazoned on the tail and belly of the bird, which greets the sun with a painted smile. Countless doves of peace have been made by children from the entire district of Munich and sent a sign of peace and solidarity with the people of Ukraine – for example the children at the Sankt Konrad elementary school in Haar, the Brunnthaler elementary school or in the afternoon care in Gräfelfing, but also in Horten , youth and family centers and other institutions.

The campaign was initiated by family education and youth social work in the Munich district office. The Unterschleißheim family base had sent out handicraft instructions that went to the youth welfare cooperation partners.
