Two seriously injured motorcyclists caused accidents near Jesenwang and in Eichenau. They had to be flown to hospitals in rescue helicopters. According to the police, both victims of the accident were given the right of way by motorists.

A motorcyclist was seriously injured on the district road between Jesenwang and Mammendorf on Monday afternoon. A driver had overlooked him when turning left. The person who caused the accident, a 73-year-old from Adelshofen, was heading towards Mammendorf at 12:45 p.m. At Pfaffenhofen, the pensioner overlooked an oncoming motorcyclist when turning left. The 64-year-old Oberschweinbacher could no longer dodge his motorcycle and collided with the car. He suffered life-threatening injuries. He was flown to an accident clinic in a rescue helicopter. The vehicles suffered material damage of 15,000 euros. An expert was commissioned to clarify the accident in detail.

On Monday evening, a 30-year-old woman from Munich wanted to turn her car on the main street in Eichenau around 8:40 p.m. to the left into the parking lot of a discount store. She overlooked a motorcyclist who had the right of way. The 40-year-old Eichenauer was hit by the car, thrown over the car and then touched by the vehicle of a 24-year-old parcel deliverer from Emmering. He was flown to a hospital in a helicopter with serious injuries.

The driver sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment at the scene of the accident. The damage to the vehicles is given as around 16,500 euros. An expert was commissioned and the three vehicles involved were secured. The main street was closed for a long time. The Eichenau fire brigade cleaned the scene of the accident again.
