District of Ebersberg: No more cases of monkeypox – Ebersberg

The risk of contracting monkeypox in the Ebersberg district is apparently negligible. At the beginning of July, the health department in the district reported the first case; the person concerned was infected outside the district and immediately went into quarantine after the diagnosis. Since then, no other case has become known to the health department, as the authority reports on request. Across Bavaria, 257 cases had been reported by Tuesday.

The first tranche of the vaccine delivery has already been distributed in Bavaria. The university clinics were supplied as a priority, with the next step being the specialist practices that also treat HIV/AIDS diseases. These practices are mainly located in Munich.
