They are fighting the front line against the pandemic: the Employees of the district clinic. In the run-up to Christmas, a number of people and companies from the district thanked them for this commitment with gifts. “I was very pleased that so many people saw what the employees of the house were doing during the corona pandemic,” says Stefan Huber, managing director of the Ebersberg district clinic.

This is a strong sign of his appreciation for the employees of the Ebersberg district clinic Putzbrunn-based company Truma Gerätechnik set. The owner family of the supplier of accessories for caravans and motorhomes has decided together with the management of Truma Geräteechnik to support the nursing staff of the intensive care unit, the Covid-19 care unit 1A and the central emergency room with a Christmas bonus. The company is donating 35,000 euros to clinic employees for this purpose.

“The bonus is intended to make a small contribution to ensuring that the nursing staff feel valued and that they do not lose their motivation to pursue their self-sacrificing job,” explains Markus Heringer, Commercial Director of Truma Geräteechnik. The money will go to the care staff of the district clinic in the form of fuel and consumption vouchers over a period of several months. In this way, the clinic employees can receive their bonus tax-free.

Anita Stocker, landlady of the Stocker inn in Landsham, has together with Markus Kaiser 100 sachets of roasted almonds donated by Mandelhans Munich – “as a little gift for your daily struggle,” as she says. She wanted to give the staff of a Covid normal ward with a sweet thank you. Irma Bicko, deputy head of ward 1A, took it. The Grafinger ice cream parlor Icegreen gave all employees ice cream in seven different flavors. It was distributed in the canteen as a dessert for lunch.

The Asslingers Martermühle coffee roastery donated a total of 60 kilos of coffee for the wards that are currently treating Covid patients. Sometimes coffee helps through difficult situations and is a strengthening, according to the two managing directors Ralf Heincke and Peter Vit. The employees get the coffee packets to take home. managing Director Stefan Huber and Nursing Director Peter Huber accepted the gift on behalf of them.

In addition, the Nursery Weber 100 poinsettias provided for employees of the Ebersberg district clinic, who could take them home. Of the boys and girls of Johanniter house for children in Kirchseeon there was a conifer branch decorated with self-made Christmas tree balls. It now adorns the dining room of the district clinic.

But private individuals also want to express their appreciation. Something like that Ronny and Susan Kröhne from Markt Schwaben. They brought over 30 kilos of sweets for employees of the district clinic. Susan Kröhne herself worked in nursing for years and is now passing on her professional knowledge at a nursing school in Munich. “We can well imagine what the pandemic means at the moment for the entire district clinic. We just want to bring a little thank you.”

Benjamin Stanka from Anzing also donated privately. He too left food for the nerves. The head of the intensive care unit, Richard Haslbeck, accepted the donation together with Nursing Director Peter Huber. When asked what motivated him to donate, he replied that he himself and members of his family had experienced in the past how important it was to get professional help in a hospital.
