Greulich coolly moderated the fact that initially there were no bottle openers at the seats: “We do that here at the edge of the table or with our teeth.” This did not have to happen because a community employee intervened courageously and distributed openers throughout the hall in no time at all, which District Administrator Christoph Göbel (CSU) commented smugly: “In Ismaning, the community employees handle the furniture more carefully than the mayor.” The fact that most of the bottles remained closed was mainly due to the enormous workload that the committee had set itself for the last day they worked together in 2021 – and the fact that the beer was served warm, for which Göbel thanked him because it meant that saw efficient work guaranteed.
