A mother got into such a fight with her son because of his cell phone use that in the end the police in Lower Franconia had to intervene. The 37-year-old accused her son of spending the whole day on his cell phone in the apartment in Bad Neustadt an der Saale (Rhoen-Grabfeld district), as a police spokesman said. She therefore wanted to prohibit the teenager from using the device any further – a violent verbal argument then developed between the two. First, the husband intervened to end the argument. Nevertheless, mother and son continued to attack each other afterwards. Finally, a patrol was called. In order to avoid a further escalation of the situation, the mother, in conversation with the officials, agreed to spend the night in another house with friends. This ended the dispute.
