Sandra moves to Turkey to be with her true love, Emre. But before they can get married, the musician dies. According to the media, the 32-year-old clashed with two men in a fast food restaurant and was brutally beaten down.

Sandra has finally found her true love, it says on the Vox homepage about an episode of “Goodbye Germany”. But the relationship ended suddenly: Sandra Zeppin’s partner Emre Aytekin died at the beginning of February, as the broadcaster now announced – “tragically”. According to a report in the “Bild” newspaper, the musician was beaten to death in a fast food restaurant in Istanbul.

While he was in the toilet, two men at the next table are said to have harassed Sandra. Back at the table, a discussion broke out between Emre and the two of them. The men are said to have attacked Emre at the checkout. A surveillance camera apparently recorded them brutally beating him. According to her own statements, Sandra was also beaten, as she is quoted in the Turkish media. She tried to pull Emre away.

Even rescue workers couldn’t help him; shortly after the attack, the 32-year-old died, according to the “Bild” report. The two perpetrators were therefore imprisoned.

“I couldn’t save him”

Sandra apparently had to leave Turkey temporarily because she only had a tourist visa, as they say. However, the authorities gave her the prospect of being allowed to return to the country. She was therefore unable to attend her fiancé’s funeral. “I would like to say goodbye to him and ask him to forgive me,” the German is quoted as saying. “I couldn’t save him.”

The documentary soap “Goodbye Germany” has been accompanying Germans who are looking for happiness abroad for 17 years. Daniela Katzenberger, for example, is one of the most famous emigrants.
